History
Accredited by The Joint Commission, Choice Health Care has a rich tradition of providing quality health care to families throughout metro Atlanta. Founded in 1967, the Choice Health Care network began as Southside Medical Center (SMC), a clinic designed to bring highly-trained physicians and essential health services to Atlanta communities. As the demand for primary care services grew, SMC expanded into Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Clayton counties. The umbrella network, Choice Health Care, now includes 20 locations.
